levelling feet? (v. 1.1)

Need to get some levelling feet to support the mount when it’s not on the tripod and give a bit of height to prevent it resting on plate which ordinarily attaches it to the tripod.

i’ve looked for ages for some 5mm screw-in levelling feet that don’t “wobble” (ie have any ‘articulation angle’ as it appears to be called). i just want them rigid. and cheap. none to be found. loads that can ‘articulate’ and lots for larger sizes than 5mm.

anyway, have decided that i can use these tapered rubber feet from maplins (L17AA) for £2.99. i will just put an M5 screw through each foot and super-glue it in. Then with a washer attached at the other end, i can adjust the height of the mount to make sure it’s level (in case wanted to use the mount on a table).

will try, and take a photo if it works.

Ben
