I think a proper shot of jupiter is impossible with this setup (canon 400d and zenithstar 66 on a manfrotto tripod) – at least that’s what I consoled myself with.
This was the best I could manage after hours of trying. No tracking. No stacking of multiple shots. Just one single frame. It’s hardly worth putting up but having tried so hard for so long I had to put this up!
I think you can perhaps see the upper band of cloud. But maybe I’ve looked at this too long!
